BLOG 3: MY DREAM JOB
Hi eveyone, today I'm going to talk about my dream job.
In my case, my dream job is to work as a social worker in the Sename, this is because I love kids but I am not a good teacher. Also, I find it very interesting to analyse the power relations and the structural inequalities imposed in the system. With this, I would also like to contribute to the creation of public policies especially in the feminist matters.
I imagine this job very exhausting and stressful while it is being carried out because there will inevitably be a shortage of resources that will make it difficult to move forward with projects. But when a project is completed, you should feel good about it.
This work requires perseverance and a desire to bring about change.
About the salary, I don't study this career to have a lot of money, it's not something I care about, but I guess it will be around 1 million Chilean pesos.
I like to study at the University of Chile mainly because of its political approach and its restoration of its new teachings thanks to the context of its closure during the military dictatorship. The bad thing is that I don't like its academic and investigative approach. because there is a danger that we will lack experiences and tools for our future work which in my case will not be only investigative.
Hi Constanza, I am interested too work in the Sename. Good blog!!
ResponderEliminarHi Constanza!! Woow, I think that you are very strong in emotional case, I think that I could not work in the Sename, because I am so sensitive :c How you will prepare to that?
ResponderEliminarBest regards!!
Hi Constanza, working in the sename must be very emotionally draining, but also if you manage to realize your projects it must be very gratifying.
ResponderEliminarI like that you want to work with a feminist perspective !
